What Happens During An Abortion?

On this page we will provide you with links and information about the abortion procedures. We will explain how abortions are done. What happens during the procedure to you and your baby.

WARNING! You will not get any sugar coated information on this page. What you will get is the truth, and not only what you want to hear! If you would like to know more about what abortion is please refer to What is abortion?

What Happens First?

First pregnancy is determined with a pregnancy test. Then when pregnancy is confirmed, a ultrasound will be taken to determine the development of the baby and how many babies are in the womb. You may or may not be shown the ultrasound images. The ultrasound will determine what type of abortion procedure the doctor will need to use, in order to successfully destroy the embryo or fetus. Any baby older than 16 weeks is considered a late term case and a late term abortion procedure will be done at that time. The bigger the baby the more expensive the procedure. A 19 week abortion will cost about $7,000.  The abortionist has more mass to break apart and more mass to remove. Mass like arms, legs, torsos and a crushed scull! In the early stages of the pregnancy the baby is very small and the tissue is much softer and can be broken apart and destroyed easily and removed using a suction machine.

Types Of Abortion

Mifepristone and Misoprostol: a medical abortion procedure used up to the first seven to the 9th week of pregnancy. It is also referred to as RU-486, or "the abortion pill" is Mifepristone... It destroys and removes the unborn human being in the embryonic stage of life! Methotrexate is given orally or by injection during the first office visit. Misoprostol tablets are given orally or inserted vaginally during the second office visit which occurs 5 to 7 days later. You will return home where the misoprostol will start contractions and expel the tiny human life out of the body and usually into the toilet, never to be seen again. This may occur within a few hours or up to a few days. It is very dangerous and painful!

In the later stages of the first trimester and on to the early second trimester this is the method used.

Suction Aspiration: a surgical abortion procedure used to destroy the unborn human being between 6 to 12 weeks gestation. It is also referred to as suction curettage or vacuum aspiration. During this procedure the tiny humans arms legs and body are torn to pieces and sucked out!

I have informed you of the most common abortion procedures used. For more information on later term abortion or partial birth abortion, those after 16 weeks gestation, please refer to the links below.

No matter which abortion procedure is used and how developed the baby is. Abortion means one thing, the ending of the innocent human life that is growing inside of his or her mother. That tiny life will never see his/her mother and will never exist again, each human being is a unique creation and no two are exactly the same. When a mother has an abortion she is not just ending a pregnancy like Planned Parenthood, National Abortion Federation and other abortion providers would like us to believe. When a mother has an abortion, she is destroying a human being that is a part of herself, her own child! Not the contents of a pregnancy but a living human being, growing, changing and waiting to be born. If this was not so, there would be no pregnancy.
