Abortion | A Short Story About CHOICE.

  There once was a girl, a young woman of seventeen. She made a mistake and intimately knew a man much older than her. He told her he loved her and that he wanted to marry her. One day she came to him and said, "I'm pregnant" He looked at her with a cold stare and said, "you'll have to get rid of it"! This man who earlier told her that he loved her and wanted to marry her. He couldn't even love his own flesh and blood growing inside of her. Who was she trying to fool? She decided to do as he told her and got rid of it. They told her it was a blob of tissue, that it was nothing. They didn't tell her it had a heart beat and that it could feel pain. 

They told her it was her body and it was her choice. They didn't tell her that within her body there was another one living and growing inside of her preparing to be born. They told her it was okay and that it didn't matter. They didn't tell her that she would be constantly reminded of it the rest of her life, especially when she had more children or when she saw other children play. They didn't tell her that the life inside of her was her child! They didn't even tell her it was alive! They told her it won't last long and it will be over before she knew it. They didn't tell her it would last forever! That man who told her he loved her didn't even come with her to the clinic. Soon he had moved on. She has not seen him since, but is reminded of him everyday and her child she got rid of!

 This story represents the stories of thousands of woman who made a mistake and believed that abortion was the answer. These children destroyed did not deserve to die and these women deserve better than abortion!
