Life!
LIFE!
There must be life first, or nothing will even begin to grow or change. When the human sperm and ovum come together, they ignite the spark of human life! A new human being is now created.. Without life a pregnancy will not continue.
We cannot see life, we can only see those who are alive, and other creations that contain life, and live but we cannot see life. Yet we know it is there or everything is just a figment of our imaginations, even the atheists believe in life even though they have never seen life, they have only seen what is alive, that which contains life.
What is life?
life is a part of the mysterious part of our world, the invisible part of our world, which is as real as you and me! Life cannot be bought, sold or contained, it is a part of every living thing in the whole universe, from the tiniest micro organism to the tallest tree! Life has existed from the beginning, the very first in our universe, if this were not true then we would not be here let alone anything else.
Life was here first!
I was walking with my son one day, and we were talking about how God is a part of everything he created, and if something contains life that is because God is present within it! If God decided to remove himself from us we would die, God is not only the source of life, but life itself, himself, that is why we cannot see life in its natural form, because it's God! We are created in the image, and likeness of God, he allows himself to be a part of us, so we can be alive, this is so amazing to me!
What makes us human?
Is it our arms and legs? No, even animals have those.
Is it our eyes and noses? NO, even animals have them too!
It must be that we can talk, but even a parrot can say as much as a one year old! It must be that we are intelligent, true we are intelligent life forms, but nothing in this universe is without intelligence, even ant colonies will act in an intelligent way. Honestly I have met some not so intelligent people and they are still human lol!.
We are human beings because we have a soul, and are created in the image of God.
That is something missing in the pro-choice agenda, they miss this truth. They say it is a zygote, it is not a human person, it can't live on its own, or breath air! The truth is all we need is a source of life, and a soul to be living human beings! That is all, and only God can give that to us, all of the other human characteristics we have are only perks, we are special in the universe, set a part from any-other of Gods creations!
God wants us to know how special we are in the universe so we can take him seriously, that is why we are so different even with our similarities to other species we still remain special and unique, we must remember that.
The pro-life message is one of truth, forgiveness, humility, love, and understanding! And as I write this I think of one person who said " I am the way, the truth, and the life!" as pro-life individuals we stand for the only truth there is!
Keep up the good work, and do more when you can, pray, and act that is how it is done!

What Is Abortion?
On this post I will be answering the question, what is abortion?
The answer is very simple. Lets start with the definition of abortion.
Abortion is defined as the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus.
Abortion can occur accidentally as in a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy or it can occur intentionally as in induced abortion. In order for an abortion to occur, death of the embryo or fetus must take place.
Embryo is a title used for the early stages of growth and differentiation that are characterized by cleavage, the laying down of fundamental tissues, and the formation of primitive organs and organ systems; especially : the developing human individual from the time of implantation to the end of the eighth week after conception.
Fetus is also a title used in a particular stage in development and is defined as an unborn or unhatched vertebrate especially after attaining the basic structural plan of its kind; specifically a developing human from usually two months after conception to birth.Word origin: The word fetus comes from Middle English and is Latin derived meaning, the act of bearing young or offspring
A abortion provider may say that abortion is the termination of a pregnancy by removal of the contents of the uterus. While this is true, it is a sugar coated explanation of what abortion really is. Abortion isn't just the termination of a pregnancy and it isn't simply removing the contents of the uterus.
I will explain.
Pregnancy takes place when the fertilization of the ovum (egg) occurs. Most doctors calculate the start of pregnancy from the first day of the mothers last menstrual period. This is called the "menstrual age" and is about two weeks ahead of when conception occurs. At the moment of fertilization, your baby's genetic make-up is complete, including its sex. Since the mother can provide only X chromosomes (she's XX), if a Y sperm fertilizes the egg, your baby will be a boy (XY); if an X sperm fertilizes the egg, your baby will be a girl (XX).
When pregnancy occurs it is ONLY because the offspring of the female has begun it's new life! In other words No baby, No pregnancy! When abortion takes place the contents of the uterus that defines the pregnancy is the embryo or fetus. When the parents of the offspring are human beings we are talking about a newly created human being!
Abortion happens when the life that is growing and changing inside the uterus is destroyed and removed or expelled from the mothers body. This can happen spontaneously, resulting in miscarriage or intentionally using induced abortion.
Induced Abortion is the intentional induction of abortion, through various types of surgical or chemical procedures. Termination of the unborn human being, that is contained in the mothers uterus is always the objective! Not simply termination of the pregnancy which would not exist if it were not for the human being growing inside his/her mothers womb.

Abortion Statistics In The United States
They say that one in four babies are aborted! Chances are you know someone who had or will have an abortion. If you are pro-choice you will probably shrug it off as "it's their choice anyway." How sad to think that so many of our American citizens are lost due to abortion.
I rarely post statistical quotes, really stats are not the best but it does give us an idea of the true figures. The figures can easily be higher or lower on any given day because stats have to do with the performance of people and that is unpredictable. Statistics can also be easily manipulated. Statistics can only be so reliable. The stats posted here are from the Guttmacher Institute and is seen as a reliable source for information on abortion statistics. It was and is today the statistics authority to Planned Parenthood. Alan F. Guttmacher was president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America and a leader in the International Planned Parenthood Federation in the 1960s and early 1970

- Nearly half of pregnancies among American women are unintended, and four in 10 of these are terminated by abortion. Twenty-two percent of all pregnancies (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion."
- Forty percent of pregnancies among white women, 69% among blacks and 54% among Hispanics are unintended. In 2008, 1.21 million abortions were performed, down from 1.31 million in 2000. With 3,000 to 4,000 thousand abortions done everyday in the US alone, I don't find these figure hard to believe at all. Of course with any statistics it is only so accurate but who cares the point is chances are you know or will know a woman who will have an abortion some time in her life. There is an even greater chance that you know or will know someone involved with abortion in a personal way. I consistently meet woman of all ages who have had an abortion, just in my everyday life. We need to make good information that is focused on truth available to those around us, because abortion is an everyone issue.
We must not stay silent. Remember silence is approval and we must look out for one another!

Fetal Development; From conception to birth.
Day 1: fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins.
Day 6: embryo begins implantation in the uterus.
Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child's own blood, often a different type than the mothers'.
Week 3: By the end of third week the child's backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape.
Week 4: By the end of week four the child is ten thousand times larger than the fertilized egg.
Week 5: Eyes, legs, and hands begin to develop.
Week 6: Brain waves are detectable; mouth and lips are present; fingernails are forming.
Week 7: Eyelids, and toes form, nose distinct. The baby is kicking and swimming.

Week 11: The baby can grasp objects placed in its hand; all organ systems are functioning. The baby has a skeletal structure, nerves, and circulation.
Week 12: The baby has all of the parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves, spinal cord, and thalamus. Vocal cords are complete. The baby can suck its thumb.
Week 14: At this age, the heart pumps several quarts of blood through the body every day.
Week 15: The baby has an adult's taste buds.
Month 4: Bone Marrow is now beginning to form. The heart is pumping 25 quarts of blood a day.
By the end of month 4 the baby will be 8-10 inches in length and will weigh up to half a pound.
Week 17: The baby can have dream (REM) sleep.
Week 19: Babies can routinely be saved at 21 to 22 weeks after fertilization, and sometimes they can be saved even younger.
Week 20: The earliest stage at which Partial birth abortions are performed.
At 20 weeks the baby recognizes its' mothers voice.
Months 5 and 6: The baby practices breathing by inhaling amniotic fluid into its developing lungs. The baby will grasp at the umbilical cord when it feels it. Most mothers feel an increase in movement, kicking, and hiccups from the baby. Oil and sweat glands are now functioning. The baby is now twelve inches long or more, and weighs up to one and a half pounds.
Months 7 through 9: Eyeteeth are present. The baby opens and closes his eyes. The baby is using four of the five senses (vision, hearing, taste, and touch.) He knows the difference between waking and sleeping, and can relate to the moods of the mother. The baby's skin begins to thicken, and a layer of fat is produced and stored beneath the skin. Antibodies are built up, and the baby's heart begins to pump 300 gallons of blood per day. Approximately one week before the birth the baby stops growing, and "drops" usually head down into the pelvic cavity.

Pro-Life Advcoates Push for Tax-Funded Abortion Ban in Senate
Yesterday, just one day after the House voted for a bill banning taxpayer funding of abortions across all governmental programs and departments, pro-life groups and lawmakers are pushing for a Senate version.
Sen. Roger Wicker, a Mississippi Republican, on Thursday introduced a companion to the bill the House approved, but he acknowledged it’s “unlikely” that there are 60 votes for the pro-life bill in the Senate because Republicans would have to overcome a filibuster from Senate Democrats. Still, he said he would push for the legislation anyway and might possible offer it as a rider to another bill at some point in the future.
